Half-price Tickets for Local Residents

To celebrate the launch of County Durham’s new Mining Art Gallery local communities across the area can enjoy a special introductory ticket offer.

Residents from Bishop Auckland, Crook, Spennymoor, Shildon and Weardale can visit the Mining Art Gallery for half price throughout October and November.

Opening on Saturday, October 21, the Mining Art Gallery in Bishop Auckland is the first gallery of its size in the country, dedicated to mining art.

And until Thursday, November 30 the usual full ticket price of £4 will be reduced to £2 for residents of postcode areas, DL4, DL13, DL14, DL15 and DL16.

The gallery is located in Old Bank Chambers, Bishop Auckland Market Place and is open daily from 10am-4pm.

Before discount, tickets are £4 for adults, £3 for concessions and free for under 16s, carers, Arts Pass holders and Historic Houses members.
